About BrokerAudit

BrokerAudit is an independent forex broker review site built on a simple principle: if you can't see how a rating is calculated, you can't trust it.

Most broker review sites give you a score and ask you to take their word for it. The formula stays hidden. The weights are secret. And the relationship between the reviewer's revenue and the broker's ranking is never quite clear.

We publish everything. The 7 scoring categories, the exact weights, the rubrics for each score, the data sources. If you want to recalculate a broker's score yourself, you can. That's the point.

Who's Behind BrokerAudit

Neil C, Lead Analyst & Author

Neil is a financial markets analyst with over 10 years of experience in forex trading and broker evaluation. He has personally opened and tested accounts with dozens of brokers, traded live capital across multiple platforms, and spent years studying regulatory frameworks across major financial jurisdictions.

His background includes technical analysis, algorithmic trading strategy development, and financial content production. He holds candidacy for the Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) designation.

Every review, category ranking, and guide article on BrokerAudit is researched and written by Neil. The site doesn't use ghost writers or outsourced content farms. When you read a review here, it reflects hands-on experience with the platform being reviewed.

Editorial Policy

Independence

BrokerAudit earns revenue through affiliate partnerships. When you click a link to a broker and open an account, we may earn a commission. This is standard practice across the broker review industry, and it's how we fund the research that goes into every review.

What we don't do is let affiliate revenue influence scores. Our methodology is public. The scoring formula is fixed. A broker can't pay for a higher rating.

Accuracy

Forex broker data changes frequently. Spreads fluctuate, fee structures get updated, and regulatory statuses shift. We verify core data points weekly and update full reviews quarterly.

If you spot an error, tell us. We take accuracy seriously because this is financial content that affects real decisions. Verified corrections are published within 48 hours.

Balance

Every broker review includes genuine pros and genuine cons. There is no broker that excels at everything. IC Markets has the tightest spreads but limited education. XM has outstanding learning resources but wider spreads than raw-spread competitors. AvaTrade is brilliant for beginners but charges aggressive inactivity fees.

If a review reads like a sales page, we've failed. Our job is to present the evidence and let you decide.

Corrections

If we publish something that's wrong, we fix it and note the correction. We don't quietly edit pages and pretend the error never happened. Material corrections are timestamped.

Our Mission

Give retail forex traders the information they need to choose a broker, presented with the transparency they deserve. No hidden formulas. No paid rankings. Just data.
