Full Review

Errante scores 68.9 out of 100 and is the newest broker in our review. Founded in 2019 with CySEC regulation, it's a Cypriot operation expanding into Africa and Southeast Asia. The Standard account requires just $50, spreads start from 1.5 pips, and there's no commission on most accounts. It offers MT4, MT5, and cTrader. But with only 150+ instruments, limited brand recognition, and just seven years of history, Errante sits firmly in the "small, unproven" category. The pricing isn't bad. The question is whether you trust a broker this new.

No single category stands out strongly. Platforms at 72 is the highest score, reflecting cTrader availability alongside MT4/MT5. Regulation at 62 is low because CySEC is the only meaningful licence and the brand is very young. Trading Costs at 70 are average, with spreads that don't compete with the best ECN brokers.

Regulation & Safety

Regulator Tier License Entity
CySEC (Cyprus) Tier 2 383/20 Errante Securities Ltd
FSA Seychelles Tier 3 SD038 Errante Ltd

CySEC is a Tier 2 regulator. It's not weak, but it's also not FCA, ASIC, or BaFin. EU investor compensation (up to EUR 20,000) and negative balance protection apply for CySEC clients. Segregated funds are held with credit-rated international banks.

The Seychelles entity offers higher leverage (up to 1:500) but minimal regulatory protection.

Founded in 2019, Errante is the youngest broker in our review at seven years old. That's a genuine concern. Longer-running brokers have survived market crises, regulatory changes, and liquidity crunches. Errante hasn't been tested in the same way. CySEC licence 383/20 was granted in 2020, so the regulated operation is roughly six years old.

Spreads

Pair Standard Avg. Premium Avg. Tailor Made Avg.
EUR/USD 1.5 pips 1.0 pips 0.0 pips
GBP/USD 2.0 pips 1.5 pips 0.4 pips
USD/JPY 1.8 pips 1.2 pips 0.2 pips

Standard spreads at 1.5 pips EUR/USD are on the wide side. For context, Eightcap's Standard account averages 1.16 pips, and Tickmill's Classic sits at 1.60 pips. You'd need the Tailor Made account to get truly competitive raw spreads, and that requires a $15,000 deposit.

Commissions

  • Standard: $0 per lot
  • Premium: $0 per lot
  • VIP: $0 per lot
  • Tailor Made: ~$5 per lot round-turn (varies based on volume)

Most accounts charge zero commission with costs built into the spread. The Tailor Made account adds a commission but drops spreads to near-zero. The commission varies by trading volume, typically around $5/lot round-turn.

Other Fees

  • Inactivity fee: None
  • Deposit fees: Free
  • Withdrawal fees: Free (minimum withdrawal of 20 units in account currency)

No inactivity fee is a positive. Deposit and withdrawal fees are waived on most methods.

Four account tiers, each progressively tighter on spreads but requiring higher deposits. The jump from Standard ($50) to Premium ($1,000) is manageable, but VIP ($5,000) and Tailor Made ($15,000) are steep for a broker of this size and age.

MAM/PAMM accounts for money managers. Islamic accounts available. Demo accounts for practice.

Trading Platforms & Tools

Errante offers MT4, MT5, and cTrader.

MT4 and MT5 are standard implementations. Nothing extra, nothing missing.

cTrader is a genuine positive. It's a modern platform with better charting than MetaTrader, algorithmic trading support, and a cleaner interface. Having cTrader available puts Errante ahead of brokers like Moneta Markets, Eightcap, and Tickmill on platform options (though behind on other fronts).

All platforms are available on desktop, web, and mobile.

The instrument range is thin at 150+. That covers the basics: major and minor forex pairs, some indices, commodities, a handful of crypto CFDs, and share CFDs. But it's the smallest selection in our review by a wide margin. BlackBull offers 26,000+, IC Markets 2,250+, and even the cost-focused Fusion Markets offers 250.

No proprietary platform. No copy trading feature. No TradingView integration.

Final Verdict

Errante is a young broker still finding its place. It has the basics covered: CySEC regulation, three solid platforms including cTrader, and a low $50 entry point. The spread-based pricing on Standard and Premium accounts is straightforward, though not the tightest.

The problems are age and scale. Seven years of operation is the least in our review. 150+ instruments is the fewest. And CySEC as the sole meaningful regulator, while respectable, doesn't inspire the same confidence as FCA or ASIC.

Traders based in the EU who want cTrader access with a low minimum deposit might find Errante worth trying. Everyone else has better options. Eightcap offers stronger regulation at the same price point, Fusion Markets offers far lower costs, and almost every other broker offers more instruments.
